Ethical hacking का उद्देश्य अनुमति प्राप्त system में weaknesses पहचानकर उन्हें ठीक करने में मदद करना है। किसी public website को उपलब्ध देखकर testing की अनुमति मान लेना सही नहीं है। लिखित scope में target, allowed actions, समय और stop conditions तय करें।
अपना सुरक्षित lab तैयार करें
Practice के लिए local virtual machines या learning platform के authorized labs लें। असली customers का data न डालें। Network isolation, snapshots और अलग test credentials रखें। Exercise शुरू करने से पहले restore करना सीखें।
हर exercise का लक्ष्य लिखें
उदाहरण: student account सिर्फ अपनी lesson file खोल सके। पहले expected behavior लिखें, फिर दो test accounts से वही सीमा जाँचें। Result, reproducible steps और mitigation लिखना tool output जमा करने से ज्यादा उपयोगी है।
Course और lab में क्या फर्क है?
Course concepts और क्रम देता है; lab आपको उन्हें लागू करने का अवसर देता है। Course खरीदने से पहले देखें कि कौन-से labs शामिल हैं और कौन-से अपने computer पर बनाने होंगे। किसी lab या certificate को included मानकर न चलें।

क्या किसी भी website को scan कर सकते हैं?
केवल उस target पर test करें जिसकी स्पष्ट अनुमति और scope आपके पास हो। सीखने के लिए अपना isolated lab उपयोग करें।
क्या tools सीखना काफी है?
नहीं। Networking, access control, evidence और remediation समझना भी जरूरी है। Tool का result अपने आप finding साबित नहीं करता।
